AniMat : Double-sided veterinary heating mat

USE:

Prevention of hypothermia:

Maintaining the temperature of the body is very important during and after anesthesia. 100 % of patients get cold during anesthesia.

Consequences of hypothermia:

- Difficulties waking up
- Risk of shock
- In the long term, risk of heart problems, renal insufficiency, etc.
- Risk of death

Awareness of hypothermia is also important during simple acts such as dental scaling.
The smaller the animal is, the more affected it will be by hypothermia.
It is also very important with rodents or birds.

Curative:

Hypothermia in confunction with trauma or anesthesia must be treated systematically. It is important to maintain the body temperature between 38 and 39°C. The heating mat enables gentle warming of the patient without any risk of burning.
